Sophie is a great organiser with skills in delivering youth and community projects with people of all ages. Her passion is helping older adults maintain independence through exercise and healthy lifestyle choices.
In addition to her dance and exercise classes, she has many years exeprience in planning and delivering community events. From Moroccan themed Christmas events, to Volunteer gardening days, Sophie has fantastic all-round people skills. She's an excellent motivator and always ensures all the loose ends tied.

Established in 2010, BF4Y has provided flexible and bespoke training and community support services within North Herefordshire, the Welsh Borders and the West Midlands areas. We aim to meet the diverse needs of youth and community organisations by developing life long learning opportunities that are fun, inspirational and beneficial. We listen to our clients and work with them to help people to reach their potential, to enjoy learning and to feel part of their communities.
Project Manager, Trainer & Assessor
Cath has over 20 years experience as a qualified youth and community worker, for both the voluntary and statutory sectors. She has a wealth of diverse experience, including running youth clubs, working with children and young people in care, delivering life skills and employability training with homeless young adults, community learning in supported housing for the over 55's and organising numerous community events and activities.
Variety is the spice of life, so delivering project work, workshops and short courses keep Cath on her toes. Creativity and participatory learning is always apparent in her work. Cath entered into youthwork through delivering youth arts projects, but later specialised in young womens groups and employability for NEET young people.
In between travelling the World by motorbike, providing respite foster care and looking after her dog and numerous chickens, Cath heads up Bright Futures 4 Youth as Project Manager.

Sarah has over 15 years experience as a community youth worker in Herefordshire, and qualified with a DipH.E in Informal Education in 2010. She has a wealth of experience in developing and delivering issue based projects and activities for 12 to 25 year olds, for youth club, school and college based delivery.

Sarah has a business background, and is highly skilled in developing partnership work and creative fundraising initiatives. She is currently a management trainee in the family business, and pursues her youth & community career on a freelance basis.

We are keen to hear from other freelance workers with relevant skills, to expand our team and to be able to meeet the diverse needs of our clients.
We also provide voluntary experience for students and people wanting to gain practical experience in youth & community work, depending on current projects.

Philippa is our healthy lifestyles specialist, with an impressive career in public health, dental health, health promotion and as a parent advisor for a Children's Centre.
As a highly motivated and organised professional, Philippa always ensures targets and deadlines are always met. However, she is also a very caring and supportive person who relaxes at home with her family, and enjoys cooking, gardening and walking her dog.

Ruth began working in the youth and community development sector via voluntary work as a health education worker in Uganda, focusing on adolescent and sexual health.
